CASA of NELA apart of State Continuous Quality Improvement Initiative

We are thrilled to announce exciting strides in our Data and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Initiative, made possible by the generous grant from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation. Last week, our Data and CQI Committee met to finalize the changes to the Child Well-Being Assessment. This new assessment will soon be integrated into our Optima Software, streamlining data collection and ensuring more informed decisions to enhance the lives of children in foster care.

This initiative aims to revolutionize child advocacy in Louisiana over the next five years. With a focus on data-driven strategies and a commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), we will conduct region-specific training sessions and evaluate our programs to maximize impact. The integration of the new assessment tool will provide invaluable insights into volunteer retention and recruitment, fostering a stronger advocacy community. We are grateful to The Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Louisiana Foundation for their support and look forward to sharing more updates on this transformative project.
